Diahanne Lucas

Diahanne Lucas is the descendant of Cambridge residents with roots in both Barbados and the South, and she lived in the Port neighborhood for a few years. Diahanne has been a part of the CBHP since its inception and brings her varied interests in education, AI, genealogy, documentary film, and local history to the group. An accomplished media professional, Diahanne works as a Senior Rights Manager at WGBH, a leading public broadcasting station in Boston, managing media licensing and research for PBS LearningMedia. She received her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College and has also pursued advanced studies in local history at Oxford University’s Department of Continuing Education, Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell University, and Digital Curation at the University of Maine. She is an ambassador for the Metrowest Women’s Fund and founder of Black / African Americans in New England.
