Viv Williams

Viv Williams, a Louisiana native, moved to Massachusetts in 2017 to pursue an MLIS at Simmons University. After working for five years in the library and archives of the Massachusetts Historical Society where she served on both the DEI and Digital Disability Accessibility committees, she came to Cambridge to serve as Commission Archivist for the Cambridge Historical Commission. While not a Cambridge native, she brings to the group her interest in inclusive access and passion for uplifting historically silenced and ignored voices.
