On Jan 26th. 2023, we joined together with the Cambridge Public library for our Trailblazer Bookmarks Launch Event. The bookmarks honor the extraordinary lives of Black Cantabrigians whose accomplishments have often been overlooked.
It was an evening of music, mingling, and discussion that saluted these individuals whose influence reaches far beyond our city limits. The opening reception featured music by jazz and classical musician Joel LaRue Smith, followed by a program recognizing the bookmark trailblazers and other remarkable individuals.
